Royal Caribbean Ship Classes -RCL Ships by Class

Royal Caribbean International (RCL), the world's leading cruise line, currently operates 27 cruise ships across 8 distinct classes. Among these, 5 of the top 6 largest cruise ships in the world belong to the Oasis-class, which is operated by Royal Caribbean. The recently unveiled Royal Caribbean Icon of the Seas, launched in January 2024, holds the title of the world's largest cruise ship.

RCL's upcoming ship, Utopia of the Seas (another Oasis-class vessel), is scheduled for a July 2024 launch. 1. Icon Class Ship

Royal Caribbean Cruises' Icon Class is the largest cruise ship class in the world, featuring the most technologically advanced ship. It's also the first LNG-powered project by Royal Caribbean. See below for a list of Icon Class Ships:

2. Oasis Class Ship

Royal Caribbean’s Oasis class currently operates five of the largest cruise ships in the world, ranking among the top six (Top #2 to #6). Each Oasis Class ship ranges in gross tonnage from 225,282 to 236,857.
