Disney Wish is the latest in the Disney Cruise Line ships. This is undoubtedly the best Disney Cruise ship to sail in 2024. It is the first Disney cruise ship launched in over a decade, following the launch of Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy. It is not only currently the best, but also the largest among the four older ships.
Disney Wish is themed around children’s wishes and features new and innovative attractions. These include the first Disney attraction at sea, the ‘AquaMouse’ waterslide, the ‘Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge’ bar, and ‘Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure’ restaurant. The restaurant offers dining character experiences, live shows, and entertainment.
Disney Wish was first launched in February 2022 and began its maiden voyage on July 1st, 2022, from Port Canaveral, Florida to Disney’s Castaway Cay and Nassau.

Disney Wish Size -How Big is the Disney Wish Cruise Ship?
The Disney Wish is a 1,119-foot-long, 144,000-gross-ton cruise ship with a capacity of 4,000 passengers at maximum occupancy. In terms of size, it is the largest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. It has 1,254 staterooms, of which 875 have ocean views. It is the first in the Trion Class family.
Two more ships are in order: the first is the Disney Treasure, scheduled for her maiden voyage on December 21, 2024, and the second is the Disney Adventure (formerly Global Dream), acquired by Disney Cruise Line in November 2022, with its maiden voyage expected in 2025. Additionally, one more unnamed ship is set to launch in 2026.

Disney Wish Grand Hall is like a Disney movie experience. The Grand Hall features a bronze statue of Cinderella, stained-glass embellishments in her signature colors, and icons from the Disney film classic that can be found in unexpected places throughout the space. The Grand Hall also features a stage that hosts dedicated shows and interactive entertainment, making it the perfect place to start your Disney cruise vacation.
Disney Wish Restaurants:
Guests aboard the Disney Wish can enjoy a variety of dining experiences, from casual to elegant. The Disney Wish has three rotating dining restaurants, two adult-only specialty restaurants, a buffet restaurant, five food courts, and a dessert shop. All of these restaurants are available to guests, except for Palo Steakhouse and Enchante, which are specialty restaurants and require an additional fee.
