Royal Caribbean’s 2024 Newest Cruise Ship "Icon of the Seas" is the Biggest Cruise Ship in World ever built to date measuring 1,998 feet (365 meters long) with 250,800 gross tons, and it has the largest water park at sea, featuring six record-breaking waterslides.

The Icon of the Seas ship features the world's largest lifeboats. Eighteen lifeboats are installed and mounted on both sides of the ship. Each lifeboat can provide seating for up to 450 people.

Icon of the Seas cruise ship has successfully completed the first and second trial rounds in the Baltic Sea in 2023. As officially confirmed, the ship has passed all technical systems successfully and has returned to the Meyer Turku Shipyard in Finland.

It is scheduled to start operations from Miami, Florida, on January 27, 2024, and it will be the largest cruise ship in the world at that time.

Royal Caribbean International has unveiled the eight neighborhoods that will make up the new Icon of the Seas, the cruise line's first ship in its Icon class. These neighborhoods are designed to offer guests a variety of experiences, from relaxation and entertainment to adventure and excitement.

To date, 72% of tickets have been booked, making it the highest pre-booking rate in the history of Royal Caribbean International.
